I think it’s funny regard Bolt, supposed dream of playing football when clearly it was more money motivated. I wonder whether he saw the crazy money contracts at the top and naively believed he could earn the same.

{Ed001's Note - he was clearly in large part motivated by money. He assumed his name would bring him a big wage as fans would pay to see him play. Unfortunately he was not a good player and so was never going to get the kind of offer he was looking for.}

You would think that someone advising him would have told him that the level he is capable of playing at would never have brought in the kind of money he is looking for.
