Any chance Klopp would want to bring back his friend David Wagner? Other backroom staff have tried there hand at management before and gone back as a backroom staff. Brian Kidd and Mike Phelan also. I know the gap left behind by the departure of Zeljko Buvac has been filled by Pepijn Lijnders but that was within the club so there must be space left by Pepijn Lijnders. I personally thought David Wagner seemed a decent bloke listening to him on post match interviews and such. I suspect thou he will get another crack at management before to long. Any thoughts? I know Wagner and Klopp have worked together for a long time before.

{Ed002's Note - Get rid of Pep Ljinders you mean?}

No that's not what I mean at all. Like I said there is surely a void left by Ljinders being promoted from within the club. I truly expect Wagner to get another crack at management anyway. He seemed a very knowledgeable likable man from his interviews.

{Ed002's Note - PL returned to replace Buvac. What vacancy exists? When things are going well it is best not to disrupt things by changing all of the players and the coaching staff.}

I'd just as soon get Wagner from X Factor involved as I don't see any point in disrupting the team when we are going well.
David Wagner should have no problem finding another managerial position as I think he has proved his credentials before the recent struggles.

Wagner is a big boy. He made a name for himself at Hudd and the club will be forever gratful for what he achieved with them. Wagner did not need Klopp to do all that. He is his own man now so why would he come here as his assistant if a) he has made a name for himself and b) there is no room for him? Wagner can fend for himself. He no longer needs Klopp and safe to say, Klopp no longer needs him.
