Yes but they have made a wee cushion between themselves and Watford in 7th. 😉.

It’s a bounce, there’s always a bounce with a new manager. De Gea up to his old tricks to get them the win. I’d be very interested to see Man U players attitude when they start to show the cracks, and they really will with an unbalanced team. They’re capable of top 4 but I don’t see that continuing the impressiveness. I don’t see the players working as hard for him for the rest of the season. Hey, I’d love if they offered him the job now, that would be brilliant.

But it's funny when you think about how it would have been see if this bounce back would have happened while still under Mourinho. He would have been acclaimed as magical shaman, tactical genius, football guru and master motivator. Just goes to show you (once again) that most of it is really up to the players and what they decide to do on the field.

I’m happy then won will now push spurs and Chelsea into a bit of a scrap with them for 4th. I still haven’t seen a lot from them that scares me. Defensively they are still a mess if De Gea hadn’t made half those saves they would’ve lost by 2 or 3 and the pundits would’ve had a field day with them. Second half their midfield disappeared rarely did I notice Lingard was even on the pitch. All about us and City now.

I think that Pogba is an absolute disgrace to football. Basically, because he didn't like the manager, he put in little to zero effort. Now that Jose is gone, he's trying and he's turning out top notch performances.

I think it's so disrespectful to the club and fans that he chose to not turn up under Mourinho. How much is he getting paid to just laze about and make his boss look bad? You can see what he's capable of now, so why couldn't he do it before? What happens if he falls out with Ole or the next manager? If Woodward has any sense at all, he'd be the first one out of the door while he's on form and they can get a decent fee for him. Surely they can't afford for that fickle an attitude within their ranks.

Unfortunately EpicPotato, that is the way football is now. These stars can "tank" games cos they hate the manager and many of the fans and some in the media, will hail them for literally stealing a living and playing crap on purpose, just to get the manager fired even if the manager deserves it in Mou's case.

I don't agree with that, RedWolf. It's down to different personalities and attitudes. Could you see Gerrard or Milner doing the same because they didn't like the manager?

It's about professionalism, and Pogba doesn't have that. Even Diego Costa was still working his arse off and banging goals in, despite not getting on with Conte.

EpicPotato, Costa is one of the reasons that got Mou the sack.
