Luving Jimmy Bullard on soccer am, that one on one teckers against the keeper is class.

Seems a good guy, anyone met him.

What did you think of him as a player Eds 001,can't really remember him much.

{Ed001's Note - the guy is a dick who was far more interested in being a laugh than anything else. Drank his career away and is just a clown.}

Knew him well through a family member and would cross paths. He has sort of not grown up, I like how he played with a smile but it eventually became unprofessional and playing to the new type of fan who would go on to make him famous. Did well to get called up for England from starting out in non-league though and keeps his wife and kids mostly out of the spotlight.
The one thing that sticks in my mind about him from when I last saw him was when the football was on the tv, and you couldn’t talk to him, he just wouldn’t hear. He absolutely studied the game and certain players in his role. As Ed said, if he kept that determination he might well be known as a decent ex footballer instead of the funny man.

{Ed001's Note - it is a shame as he had a lot of talent.}

In fairness ed, I think the personality which may have held back his footballing career has really helped him in the media after he retired. I just think the lad is a bit different and different is always good, particularly with ex footballers. As for ability, I really don’t think he could have made himself a great player regardless. I never really saw flashes of brilliance but I saw his as a decent enough lad on the pitch. Dare I say, not everyone is mentally capable to reach their utmost potential but I imagine he can look back without too many regrets but moreover, I think he’ll enjoy a brilliant career entertaining people which to me is something kinda cool.

{Ed001's Note - personally I can't stand him in the media, he is an imbecile and just typical of the dumbing down of the modern world.}

Just an idiot, it's a shame because he could've been so much more but Ed1 is correct. Instead of being a footballer he preferred to be a divvy comedian drinking too much. He's not a person I'd want to know more about put it that way, I know enough to know he's a fool to himself and that's all there is to it.

More than that salaoe, we actually disagreed on something. I’m as scared as you.

That’s fair enough Ed, I found/ find him funny but I am far too easily amused. Remember the cat at anfield? And all the fans started shouting “a catacatacatacatacatacat” and Kenny was laughing his head off and mouthing “look a cat”, best moment in football ever!

{Ed001's Note - that is a bit different, that is a funny moment rather than someone trying too hard to be funny without the brains to actually achieve it.}

I like Jimmy on that show. doesn't need to be smart to be funny, and ya don't need to be an imbecile to find him amusing. He seems to be doing well and the show is a good watch for a laugh.
