I've been thinking and i've decided that we should buy a top striker/ attacker to challenge our 'fab 3'

I appreciate that it would be difficult to recruit a player to sit on the bench but actually I think we need someone who is really quality who could potentially take one of those places for their own.

At the moment we don't really have a strong replacement for the 3 and so they know that they are pretty much guaranteed a starting spot every week regardless of current form, wouldn't it be good to have some quality backup to push our attacking players more?

I think it's important to have quality players pushing each other to perform, look what happened to Gini and Milner this season when we brought in more competition, they stepped it up massively.

Thoughts? And just for fun, who would you want us to buy?

Lozano for me. He’s got a bit of that Uruguayan that shall not be mentioned here about him.

Fekir or Lozano. Or if Spurs would be willing to swap Son for Origi.

Or Rashford, even though he’s a Manc.

what was the difference maker for mahrez to sign for city? if we were going for mahrez, I am sure one of the eds would say "good move to replace SAlah". Interested in how that convo goes at the 'top' clubs - Did City give him assurances? or did they just pay him way more? preparing to sell another player at that time? combo of all!?

I agree we need another forward who’s in the same style as our front three. Shaqiri is partly that player but if we play a 4-2-3-1 (which we are doing more and more often) then having Sturridge or Origi replaces with a more versatile Son type player would be ideal.

We are fine offensively. Could do with a midfielder who gets goals. All title winning sides have a midfielder who scores.

We need a CB on loan. Or a permanent if we sell matip.

I would offer Shaun Dyche matip and 25mil for tarkowski. A Hencho to our hypia.
