Ed do you think we need to strengthen in January considering we have a great shot at the title? My personal opinion is that we do not need to.

I say this cause i remember not doing so in 08/ 09 when we could really have used another striker and had sold Keane after 6 months and 13/ 14 when we could have done with a defender and remember being heavily linked with yarmalenko.

I really don't know if I would be able to take it for a third time us being top on Christmas and not going on to win it. We've been through so much.

{Ed0333's Note - I’m not sure which Ed you’re question is directed towards Park so I’ll answer it. I have the converse opinion to you and I think if Origi leaves an attacking midfielder or a striker is a must. Injuries can strike anytime and I’d rather have to many than too few. Say if two of the front 3 got injured and the same time I don’t think we have adequate cover. I wouldn’t be opposed to an attacking midfielder loan for 6 months for example.

Do you think there might be anyway be suitable available though Ed0333?

{Ed0333's Note - That would have to be a yes. Who wouldn’t want to play for us and be improved by Klopp?

If anything I would say we must target a left back or just play academy left back. I do not trust moreno at all. Why wait 6 months to get squad left back why not now?

And yes I totally agree that we cannot let origi go unless we bring in an attacker or recall wilson from his loan. Its just a matter of six months.

That's my opinion also. Get in a forward player - preferably Fekir. Or any other forward of that quality. By June, if we've surplus, we can sort that out. But we would've the trophy already by then.

Trying to get top class players in January is not easy, clubs are reluctant to sell their best players while they are still competing for their league or in European competition.
The players that are named on here that Liverpool have an interest in, are unlikely to be sold mid season.
Dembele of Barcelona maybe as a loan, I think Klopp will leave it unless a major transfer target of his became available, which seems unlikely.

I’d bring in Steven Caulker on loan, can play centre half or striker if needed 👀 😂😂😂.

Bring Coutinho on Loan! He knows how we play don't need to adapt and can play in Middlefield and wide forward.

BB. that's not very nice. He's actually going through a very tough period now due to his mental health.

I was unaware of any mental health issues sgynwa. It wasn’t aimed Caulker personally and very much tongue in cheek. : (.

What I expect: we will not sign anybody. And I am ok with it
What I want/ hope: we sign a player who can play Left forward and centre forward (backup for Mane) .

BB. yeah, i'm sure it was tongue in cheek and i'm sure it wasnt personal. just thought to point that out as the man has had it really tough and his condition was already affecting him while he was with us.

If klopp is letting origi go and has sold solanke then I reckon he is looking at brewster and Duncan and thinking "Wow! " Duncan was an absolute goal machine in his youth days, scored like 60 odd goals a season. That's 60 goals. There is no way he would recklessly sell our attacking players without some back up plan, not in the situation we're in. Top of the league and all.

If Origi goes we need another forward. One major injury and we’ll be very tight, two and we’ll struggle to have any real impact off the bench and we can’t afford that in a season like this.

I agree sgred. Maybe Duncan is that guy.

With all the hype about Duncan, don't overlook his partner in crime Paul Glatzel. He is also looking very good and for me, slightly more advanced.

I really hope Klopp isn't going to sell Origi and keep Studge till the end of the season after last nights showing.
