Hi Eds, this time last year there were strong rumours linking us with a €25m bid for Some Vsraljko, who I rate as one of the best right backs in the world. I know he has gone to Inter on loan but wondered if they will make the deal permanent and if not, whether we might still be interested? Many thanks.

Are Inter just trying to build a club-side version of the Croatian national side Ed? Weren’t they after Modric in the summer too? ;)

{Ed002's Note - They may sell him on. They have to fix a financial problem and have a big wants list - so they have to sell creatively with meetings mid next week over a couple of players and discussions being scheduled with agents in Geneva.}
