Clyne on loan to Bournemouth, surely this leaves us short for Cover? i know Gomez plays there but he has had injury issues a few times.

Fabinho and Milner can adequately cover that side too. Clyne has barely even played.

Clyne was on fairly high wages mate. This loan move saves us some money in wages, and helps put Clyne in the shop market for the summer (or maybe to return to us a regular starter if he can pick up form - which I doubt) . Most importantly, it's a good move for Clyne. Fab and Millie can cover RB, Moreno can cover LB and then we also have the likes of Adam Lewis in reserves. Not too fussed about this one.

I think Clyne can improve enough to be part of our team. I'm a bit disappointed he's gone. I know he isn't popular but he looked to have gone up a notch against utd.

Clyne has been on the departure block for the past two seasons now cos he and Klopp have never saw eye to eye esp. based on his "unprofessional lifestyle" as Ed01 once said. Also, he does not offer the type of attacking quality and danger that TAA possesses nor is he that good a defender either. So in the end, this was bound to happen.
