So Milan finally get Lucas Paquet on their books. He is a player that I always thought would be a fantastic addition to our squad and one that could flourish in our system. Have we ever watched him or shown any interest?

Hi ed, great review as always. I'm curious about the Solanke situation. Ed002 told us his wage demands were laughed out of the club when he was at Chelsea and he's on big wages with us now. Is it a problem with his agents/ representatives being greedy gits or is it Solanke himself who's directing them to make those unreasonable demands because he thinks he's better/ worth more than he really is? Cheers.

There is a question I've always meant to ask, and it's come up again with the Solanke deal.
How much power should a player allow his representative (s) have? It seems counterproductive to me, that Dom's representatives would look to scupper the Palace deal, knowing the player will get to play frequently and improve as a player.
There have been other stories like that too of representatives scuppering player's deals, even after the players have agreed.
Or is it strictly a case of player and representative subjecting to the contracts signed between both?

Much appreciated ed, disappointed about Solanke, not exactly sure how representatives could screw it up when it’s a loan but in fairness, I’m not that bright. I assumed his wages would have been agreed by both clubs. Seems lunacy not to get him playing for a club and kick start his career. Hope they get it sorted before the window closes.
