Just read about the passing of Peter Thompson, a stalwart of our 60's team.
I met him in the late 80's while visiting the Lake District, he ran a hotel in grange over sands at the time. He gave me a free pint when he noticed I was a red. A really nice guy and talking to his staff he would regularly have a kick around with them. RIP Peter.

I wish I could've seen all the great Liverpool teams playing live. Not only us I'd have loved to seen special players like Eusebio and Pele. I think I've seen all the greats of today like your Messi's etc (Lewandowski being the last one) hopefully I see him get smashed off Us. I just wish there was a way everyone could've seen the greats of our sport, especially the Liverpool lads of the Shanks Paisley era.
RIP Peter Thompson, YNWA.
