A couple of observations from yesterday

1. Are we giving the ball away from passes more this season than last or is it my imagination? Are we taking more risks or just getting sloppy?

2. I noticed a lot of deliberate slow downs and then acceleration forward yesterday. I’m assuming this was a tactic against Arsenal as they weren’t putting the tackles in? It opened up so much space for us.

Fabinho is excellent, but he gives the ball away a lot. And you can't do that in his position. He'll learn.

How can you say he is excellent, if he is giving the ball away too much. What I have found is, he starts slowly, and grows into the game.

Just for the record wasn’t meaning to be critical or negative. Just noticed a few things yesterday and was interested to know if these are tactical tweaks.

I am currently ecstatic with how the season is going and haven’t stopped smiling since the Everton result!

Even the world's greatest players play poor passes sometimes.
My opinion of the pass yesterday is that the midfield has such confidence in our defence they feel they can make cross pitch passes in their own half.

I remember my second manager as a kid, first thing he told us is don't play left to right in your own half. Long switches I mean.

Jard to tell what Fab was trying to do with that pass lol either way it was poorly executed and that can happen. Lucky that we disnt get punished for it.
