Ed1 - I think I remember you saying something not so long ago and I see it now. We are now a very good team capable of challanging for the title and the team now believes it which is the difference.

Think summer we should go for a right back, as TAA gets rotated depending on the opposition and also for injuries. I would like to see us go for the Crystal Palace right back. We need a left back but more inclined to go bring someone through the youth team on that side.

Midfield we need to offload some and in my opinion should keep Hendo, Ox, Fab, Naby, Gini and Shaq. Lallana should be moved on for the sake of his career and Milner I love and selfishness would see me keep him but it appears he might move on for first team footy this summer.

Forwards, obviously keep Salah, Mane and Bobby but would like to see us go for Pulsic as the front three would be changed due to rest, injuries, competition etc and that means we have 4 players capable of playing there without significantly reducing the quality in that department.

Ed1, wanted to get you opinion on what you would like to see happening over summer, albiet its a long way off. Im also torn as I thought we needed a number 10 but Bobby has shown he can play there and Shaq can also play that position.

{Ed001's Note - just fullbacks for me and replace who leaves.}

Ed1, any full backs in particular stand out?

{Ed001's Note - apart from Wan-Bissaka, no not really. The quality of full-backs is lacking at the moment.}

Ed001 if a first choice right back was brought in would you see TAA gradually integrated into midfield and also playing at fullback in certain games?

Cheers.

{Ed001's Note - yes probably.}

Do we hold any interest in Wan Bissaka? Really love this kid!

{Ed001's Note - not right now. Though if he were to become available I am sure we would be one of many to be interested.}

Will we turn to wan-bissaka?

I’d personally like to see a striker come in who can really push Firmino. We still have to see if origi can prove himself til the end of the season but i think we all know that Sturridge’s contract most likely will not be renewed. I think someone like Werner coming in to replace those two would help give Firmino, one of our hardest working players, a rest from time to time.

For me Wan-Bissaka, LB (either promote a youth player or sign somebody I’d love tierney as he can play a couple of different postions), Pulisic, maybe a striker like Kevin Volland (always liked him) and Aouar (spelling) then sell/ loan, Moreno, Clyne, Lallana, Solanke and one of Sturridge / Origi.
Very unlikely we’ll sign any of them but imagaine!

unless we can get a LB that will replace Roberston as a starter, i'm on the side of giving opportunities to a youngster.

Wan-Bissaka, what a tasty thought! not many people can go toe to toe with Sane and Mane, and i thought he did in both matches.

When Lallana leaves, guess that spot can be occupied by TAA?

Anonymous Woolback - Werner is not a bad shout, although have you noticed Bobby playing more withdrawn in a deeper role of late and Salah playing as a central striker but floats when needs be. Pulsic wants to leave and is young and can play either flank up front, feel we would be foolish not to make an approach.

Martolfc - Same, think the kid is special!

Greggers - Wan-Bissaka like you are thinking would allow us to slowly integrate TAA into midfield meanwhile he can rotate the right back slot with Wan-Bissaka so both would get a lot of game time to aid in their development.

MojoSalah - Agree with all the names you mentioned we need to move on. I would sell Origi and keep Sturridge personally. Tierney would be a dream signing but seen a few Eds say he is reluctant to leave Celtic and they are reluctant to sell.

Fulham and Palace are the teams to raid for Sessengon and Wan Bissau’s

Also get Ozil if Arsenal don’t want him but Mezut would have to trade drop in wages for enjoyment of football in coming to one of the best clubs in Europe.

Werner is not good enough, IMO. All pace but very little end product. In fact, Werner got benched at RBL towards the ned of last season for the very promising Jean-Kevin-Augustin who has pace BUT can actually score goals. Either way, we have Studge who can help Bobbie out even tho Salah, can play CF now and is scoring goals from that position.

I'm with Ed01. We need to get fullbacks to help out the starting fullbacks and if we can't get those in, we give youth a chance. Tierney won't be coming here to be backup to Robbo. Just not going to happen, IMO. As for Wan-Bissaka, if you are able to shut down Sane, Mane etc then you sir, are the real deal. Wan-Bissaka is the real deal.

A fullback who can cover on either side plus a wide player to provide cover for Mane and Salah are needed.

Ed01 any chance of wan bissaka?

Out front 3 is fantastic, and we can count Shaq in there as well now, but beyond that I agree that 1 more forward in place of Sturridge and Origi and Solanke would be a good shout. None are the long term backup to Firmino/ Salah IMO.

Midfield we have plenty of talent with Keita, Fabinho injecting a fresh energy over established Hendo, Milner and Gini, and beyond that I’d like to see youth given a chance instead of Lallana (Kane, Wilson, or Curtis Jones? )

CBs we’re Ok with our top 4 IMO, and the academy lads as solid backup options behind them.

That leaves the FBs. I’d personally like us to keep Milner in the squad who can then cover LB and RB if we have a injury crisis for the top games, and that would allow us to look to blood some youth behind Robbo and TAA. My picks would be Adam Lewis and Camacho but if we could get in someone like Wan Bissaka would be tough to turn down.

We need a new backup GK as I’m fairly sure Migs will leave.

I really think any transfers this summer will be luxury signings. That means we can be patient and only go for exceptional players or try give youth a chance. We’ve come a long way in the last 2 years.

I'd like to see youth slowly be brought through the ranks and be given a chance as back up's to TAA and Robbo. especially if we can keep hold of Mr Versatile (Milner) .
We have other senior players who can fill in there too if needed.

If we was at the end of the summer transfer window right now, I'd be happy to have :

A new back up GK

Pulisic ( to add competition to front three)

Wilson ( back to also push the front three and keep them in their toes)

Fekir ( to add a little more creativity to the team) .

I'd thank and let go of :

Migs
Clyne
Moreno
Lallana
Solanke
Origi

YNWA.

I'd like to see Neco Williams or Jana-hoever get a chance to cover for Trent at right full before we buy anyone. Wan Bissaka is very good though.

Silly-Milly, you cannot allow that many players to leave in a single Jan. window. As Klopp said last week when asked if he needs this or that player in the squad, "I need them all".
