What your veiw on the FA cup the year. Klopp is under pressure to win a cup and the fa cup would be amazing but with us top of the league surly we’ve got to put all our eggs in one basket so to speak pluses champions league.
For me I think we need to play second string and kids and if we go out then so be it! Even though it’s hard to say.
What’s every one else’s thoughts?

I have been saying for years that Liverpool should always play at full-strength in the F. A. Cup. This is the one competition that the club should show total respect.

Title is not garunteed so we are no position to pick and choose what competition we prioritise so its full strength for me.

OP, Klopp is under no more pressure to win any trophy any more than the pressure he puts on himself to win cos he is a proven winner and he he has come very close to winning them in his short time here, which was NOT the case when he arrived. If he won nothing this year, he will still have a job here next season IMO.

As for the FA Cup, Klopp plays every game to win regardless of the lineup he puts out. This is why we have come super close to winning trophies under him. He does not overlook games nor "take a game off". Play to win every game put in front of you and see what happens, as Ed01 said.

We play our strongest side, in my opinion. We were playing Wolves, not a non league team.
With regards to replays, I thought there were still replays up to the 5th round?

We should show all trophies absolute respect, we haven’t won anything since 2011 and no matter how important financial incentives for the champions league are these days, trophies are always the most important thing. I also have a soft spot for the FA cup still, its the oldest and purest cup competition in the world, a true institution of the game and should be treated with more respect by every football fan. Re-watch that 2006 final against west ham on a sun soaked spring afternoon, and tell me that champions league qualification was more important. A league and cup double would be lovely this year, a man can dream!
