Oh my word 😱
Long way to go but we are playing first the next two games so if we do our job then the pressure ramps upon City each time. Big one Boxing Day next 🤞🏻.

Some of us were saying City would definitely have a blip at some point of the season. This is probably it. A stretch of 3-4 games where they don't look right and lose points. Let's see if we can take advantage.

How many thought we would go into Christmas Day with a 4 point lead? Getting a little tight in the underpants thinking of it :D.

Spot on, lads. We heard it all. Don't see City dropping any points", "City will go undefeated", "the title is City's to lose", blah, blah, blah. Complete and utter tosh. This is the freaking English Premier League where on any giving weekend, any team can beat ANY team. As for City, they have been on a wobble since late November BUT people did not see it cos well, they won. Against Bournmouth, Watford, Chelsea, Everton and now Crystal Palace, City struggled mightily. Why? Cos these teams got after City and had the guts to actually attack them and give them loads and City could NEVER deal with them defensively.

Last week, Everton played a blinder and created more chances at the Etihad than any other team I have seen play there this season and should have gotten a point from that game. Palace proly saw that and said, "We'll do the exact same thing" and since can't defend cos they don't like to and don't want to, they were bound to come unstock and they did. Also, don't underestimate the absence of David Silva cos that is killing them right now as well. Let's see how City bounce back from these setbacks.

{Ed0333's Note - Also did you see how sparse crowd wise that stadium was? I know now why they call it the Emtyhad.

I noticed that Ed, empty seats all over the ground. Mickey Mouse club with rich owners doesn’t give you what we have. True passion. I drive up from London for most home games, not getting home until 4am sometimes to what my team. Thousands of mancs today couldn’t be bothered to turn up for what was a massive game for them. Shocking.

Ed0333, I heard about that as well. Talk about spoiled brats. Also, It's always empty (esp. during CL home games) at the Emptyhad, really. I saw this joke on social media, "Was city fans dressed as seats because there was an awful lot of them lol? ". I was in stitche after reading that, Ed.

Baffles me that year after year pundits and fans fall into the same trap of "cant see this or that-ism". every year seriously haha at this stage of the season everything is still on.

No excuses given normally for poor attendance but that game at the emptyhad last week was affected by some piss poor travel issues around both Manchester and Liverpool - a lot of fans from both sides wouldn't have been able to travel to the ground and get home. Jeez, I'm sticking up for MCFC and EFC now!

Plenty of twist and turns left so no complacency but they aren’t invincible and neither are we. yet!

Johnnyr1970, that would make sense if their stadium not being full of filled on that day, was a one-off. They call their stadium the Emptyhad for a reason. They simply cannot fill it on a regular basis (during CL games, it's even worse) and it seems to be getting worse. That is a fact that even their fans agree with.
