There seems to be a lot of mentions of Wilson and Brewster as potentials in our attack, after the summer, on these pages. Let's not forget Herbie Kane, who seems to be finding the net very regularly (as per Carragold's reports) .

He plays as a centre mid I think so will have a lot of competition. Wilson and Brewster play on the wing and a striker respectively. So the competition isn't as deep but still fierce. His next move has to be a championship side to see if he can make the next step up instead of thinking he could be ready now.

Oh. He's listed on the Liverpool official website as a Forward on their roster.

It's still very impressive that Herbie Kane is scoring so many goals without being a forward. If he continues to grow, and manages to score plenty from midfield in the Championship then he may have a bright future. Midfielders that score plenty goals are hard to come by. I haven't seen anyone playing currently that could emulate the same goal scoring prowess of the likes of Paul Scholes, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.

Curtis Jones is surely the next in line for attacking mid. Can’t be any worse than Lallana i’d imagine? Woodburn has potential if he can overcome his injuries too, can’t believe so many people are writing him off so soon.

I was really impressed by Curtis Jones in preseason. I'm looking forward to him making the next step up.

I have a season ticket for Doncaster rovers as they are my local team so I've seen a lot of herbie Kane this season. He has far more to his game than just goals, his range of passing is top notch, he can beat a man and he isn't scared to get a foot in. I believe he has the talent to make it at the top level, but should be kept out on loan to gain first team experience.

Excited about Herbie Kane based on all I’ve read here, as I was about Mellor and Nemeth!
However, the young lad I am most excited about is Bobby Duncan. He seems to be something else. Really hope we can nurture him into a star.
