Hi can I ask any of the Ed's opinion on Nigel clough as a player at Liverpool and in general. Watching him on sky sports and seems like a gentleman. Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - he joined the wrong team at the wrong time. He was a quality player, though a bit slow, but Liverpool were in the doldrums in his time and not playing a style that suited him. Lovely guy though.}

Thanks or the reply ed001 interesting hear your opinion. I remember him joining Liverpool but as you say wrong team at that time shame good player. I loved his dad as well don't get characters like old big head in the game now.

{Ed001's Note - I respected his dad but his drinking got the better of him and he was completely out of order over Hillsborough. Never could I 'love' or even like him after his comments. It was not exactly helpful to his own son either and extremely embarrassing for Nigel who had to publicly apologise despite it not being his fault that his dad was an arse.}

Tell you what a liked from the game, vvd a true leader and captain after Allison made the mistake when Jesse away celebrating you can see vvd picking Allison up of the floor and rallying him up rather than the usual bs of defenders leaving the keepers stranded and alone after a mistake. Top class and great to see from our stand in captain, well done vvd lad. YNWA.

Fair enough didn't know he had said things about Hillsborough.

{Ed001's Note - he was blind drunk and had no idea what had happened, yet still came out publicly and said it was drunken Liverpool fans at fault. Guy was an utter dick who also happened to be a brilliant football manager. There is a lot to respect about the way his teams played on the pitch, but off it he was an arse.}
