I have to say it was a very commanding and dominating performance yesterday. Man United look devoid of ideas, belief and any kind of hope at the moment. I have never seen such a one sided affair against the two sides, United looked like a mid table side throughout.

Now, I could talk about the difference between the two sides, the perfomances of our players (Especially Fabinho, Firmino and Robertson) but there was one thing, one small thing, that annoyed and frustrated me throughout the match.

And it had nothing to do with either side. The thing that really pissed me off was listening to Martin Tyler and Gary Neville commentate over the match.

I have never heard so much biase in all my life. Before the 2nd Liverpool goal both Martin Tyler and Gary Neville were applauding United's park the bus strategy, talking about how Liverpool were taking numerous long shots and nothing else (Which was a complete and utter fabrication) .

Now, I mean no offense, but how can you complain about Liverpool's long shots and ignore the fact that United had about two shots in that second half, one of them involving Fellaini hitting a steward sat beside the corner flag.

Throughout the game Martin Tyler, in particular, was making snide little comments about Liverpool and, when we finally scored, the response from Tyler was mute, full of long stretches of silence that Carragher had to fill to stop things becoming awkward.

Now, I understand Neville's biase, being a former player, and he wouldn't comment on any of our goal, but what is Martin Tyler's problem? He is supposed to be the balance for Gary's biase but, at times, it felt like Neville was less affected by the scoreline then Martin Tyler.

It did my goddamn head in. Yes, Martin Tyler and Gary Neville concluded the match with talking about Liverpool's dominance but, before it, you would have thought Liverpool were the poorer side.

Is it just me ED or does Martin Tyler genuinely hate Liverpool because every time I have been forced to listen to him his reaction to a liverpool goal has been mute and his reaction to us conceding has been the sound of pure jubilation.

{Ed001's Note - no idea, don't have a clue or care about the morons they use to commentate to be honest.}

Put it this way Mango, Martin Tyler is pro United and has been since the early 90’s mate. And as for Neville. I don’t need to say anymore.

Take no notice mate, Ed 1 is correct, he’s a complete moron.

It could be good, old fashioned Scouse paranoia but I see and hear, if not anti Liverpool bias, then a definite media reluctance to give us due credit for our Premier League performances this season. As just one example, only last weekend, after Chelsea beat Manchester City the BT Sport presenter closed their coverage by saying “So Liverpool are top of the Premier League, courtesy of Chelsea”. Not courtesy of having amassed more points than City but courtesy of Chelsea. Typical.
