Do you think the injuries will force us into signing a CB or do you reckon I look will try his luck with just 2 until the others are fit?

It’s only 5 weeks until joe is back and 3 week until the window opens so what would be the point and we have kids to bring in if needed.

Yes but long thing our defenders are made of glass especially lovren an matip, we could do with one as there resistance too injuries worries me.

I can’t see us signing a CB if worst comes to worse we have Fabinho who can fit in but the boys will be back fit in January so try not to worry too much.

You can’t bring someone in and plug and play, particularly at CB where knowing the defensive system and having a partnership is so critical. as per Longthings point, by the time you get someone in, settle them into the club, train them in our defensive patterns, Gomez will be back.

It’s better if we use Nat Philips or Masterson as cover for the next 4-6 weeks and they both look very useful, particularly Philips during pre-season.
