Joe Gomez signed a programme for my son on a match day that he was a non playing sub right when he first signed for us. We beat Aston Villa 3-2 but I remember my son being a little disappointed that it wasn't one of the bigger stars at the time who signed although he was obviously chuffed that any player found the time to sign it.

Fast forward three years and my son was telling me how Joe Gomez is now one of his favourite players. I reminded him that we still have that programme he signed and you should have seen the smile on my son's face.

I can see Joe becoming a legend at Liverpool if he avoids more bad luck injuries.
