Good evening ED001

I was wondering if you have done a player profile on Adriano, the Brazilian lad who was at Inter?

I read a short article on him over the weekend how he is back living in a favela in Brazil, kicking about with the local gangsters and not up to much good - I thought it would be interesting for you to research and of course for us lot to read, if you haven't done it already? If you have where can I find the article as I would like to read it?

All the best

Kemlyn.

{Ed001's Note - I haven't. It was only being discussed the other day on one of the other sites, I think Arsenal, what to do as he does not really qualify as a legend. But I do intend to do an article on him and will do a profile to go along with it.}

Brilliant thanks mate, I’ll look forward to reading it as always 👍🏾.

{Ed001's Note - bear with me though, I have a backlog to get through first!}

Yeah I know mate, I read them all to be honest and always enjoy them, plus the post match and daily reviews too, it’s a daily routine.

All the best

Kemlyn.

{Ed001's Note - you know I still can't get used to that, people actually wanting to read what I write!}

I look forward to the post match reviews the most as you always pick up on a lot I don’t or I have missed (guilty of watching the ball than the play)

For example I remember somebody was moaning about Henderson always passing sideways and you made a comment about watching his head, when the ball is 6ft away from him receiving it, and it will be positioned 180 degree away from the ball, always looking to move it on and create an attack, but has the ability not to when nothing is on and retain possession which is very clever play

I’ve watched him closely since you said that and he does it every time, so it’s the little things like that, that make you watch the next game in a bit of a different way

Cheers

Kemlyn.

{Ed001's Note - I am glad to help in that way. My grandad used to always do that for me as a kid, he would see things that others missed and point them out to me. I am just glad to be able to do that for others.}

Adriano was a cracking player and had a beast of a left foot on him. i remember him from his Parma days (Football Italia on channel 4) and when he first moved to Inter, shame how things turn out.

You’ve got a very personable style of writing Ed, always worth reading even if I’ve no interest in the subject matter. I write myself, had a life changing diagnosis this year so I’m looking at possibilities to take it up professionally. Got one thing in particular might be good for this site, would you want to give it a read? And how would I get it to you?

{Ed033's Note - You could send it through our contact form (look for Contact Us at the bottom of the page).

Didn't he always struggles with discipline off the pitch, remember something about his mom intervening or something at some point, could be wrong but I am sure I read that some where.

Adriano was a great player. It seemed to turn bad for him after his dad died I think it was. The BBC have been doing articles (BBC 3 maybe) on past players like Nedved and Adriano which have brought back some memories! I'm sure a quick search will locate them, they're pretty interesting reads.
