So who's everyone's midfield for tomorrow? I'm hoping Gini Nab and Fab.

Sounds good, although would like Milner in there.

2.) 10 Dec 2018

Fabinho, Keita and Shaq would be my midfield of choice.

Hendo is definitely going to be starting. Unfortunately.

I like Hendo. He was great during that Rodgers season we almost won the league. Not seen him play the same since. He was great with the through balls back then and contributed to the deadly SAS.

He doesn't seem as confident anymore as I rarely see him playing a forward pass like he used to, just seems to play it safe more often than not nowadays.

Hendo been rested so I guess he’s starting.

Ye I actually think klopp will go with Gini milly and hendo.

Wijnaldum, Hendo and Milner certainly wouldn't surprise me, it wouldn't be my first choice mind but I see that being the case. Personally it'd be Hendo, Keita and Fabinho for me.

I’m with you Salah.

Klopp will force Salah to play defensive midfield as punishment for not smiling enough when he scores 🤣

Milly will be centre forward - why not, he’s pretty good everywhere else.

hendo, milner and gini will start. although i hope for shaq, fabinho and gini.

Fabinho for sure, I like the way he breaks up opposition plays. Keita if he can perform for the full 90 like he did the first 15 mins of Saturday's game. Then Milner for his energy and the hopes of him emulating his assist record in the Champ's League of yesteryear.

I think a midfield of Hendo, Gini, and Milner however is too flat for such an important game. We need midfielders who will put the oppositions defense off balance making the job for our strikers easier.

Banjo, you say you have not seen Hendo play the same way since the BR days. Could it be that it is cos he now plays a diff. position (a no. 6) where he is protecting the back 4 (as against th no. 8 under BR) and does a bang up job at that? Just a thought.

As for the mid 3 for tmrw, I would pick Fab, Keita and Hendo. We need Hendo's experience and Keita's pace and drive with Fab's ability to bresk down play and launch attacks as well. Just my opinion?

13.) 10 Dec 2018

Keita, Fabinho, Henderson for me.

14.) 10 Dec 2018

Fabinho and Keita are first choice for me.

I don't think it's game for Shaqiri to play in midfield or as the "no. 10" because I think we have a better shape without him there. Against weaker opposition, I'd go with him for sure, but not against Napoli.

So it's between Milner and Henderson, and I just think a third high energy performance in 6 days is a little much to ask from Milner. On the other hand, Hendo's been used to playing Fabinho's role the last couple of seasons, and they might get in each other's way a bit.

On balance though, I'd opt for Fabinho, Keita and Henderson.

Why is anyone calling gini ahead of millie.

Hendo. milner and keita 1st choice. Although wouldn't mind shaq either.

17.) 11 Dec 2018

Keita Wijnaldum Milner.

18.) 11 Dec 2018

Really think it will be Henderson-Milner-Wijnaldum. Not my first choice either, but Klopp will choose experience over skill. Too important a game to take the smallest risk of a bad start by either Fabinho or Keita.

I think it will be Hendo-Milli-Gini but i'd prefer to swap Gini for Keita and get after them, chase them off the park in the first 30 mins and see where we are after then.
