Is it just me, or does Mo Salah seem to have lost his enthusiasm. He seems very subdued these days. Not expecting him to be like Jurgen Klopp but a little excitement wouldn't look out of place.

More focused I'd say mate, he had a dodgy few months and is probably a bit pissed off at himself? but he's back and wants to prove once again what he can do, people are looking into it too much imo.

Were top of the league, ahead of one the best sides in premeirship history who have a country backing them financially and all some people wanna fixate on is Mo not showing his gnashers when he scores. Can’t we just rejoice that Salah is back and in the mood again. For the record it’s a subject of great hilarity in Egypt that Mo is not smiling after he scores. They haven’t got a clue why either but to them it’s funny to us it’s a national enquiry. Chill and enjoy. This could be the start of something profoundly beautiful.

Exactly Ed333, well said mate, that's the way I'm looking at it as well. Things right now are perfect for us, we need to enjoy the moment instead of picking out little meaningless things to moan about! I don't think many people will be discussing how he celebrates goals when he and the team guide us to that title.

I think it's determination. That and the pressure. Why would you want to leave the best team in the most lucrative league after reaching a European Cup final? I don't believe that.

He was clearly smiling with his teammates at other points in the game. He was just miffed he was taken off before others the other day. he wants to be top scorer/ the best in the world so doesn't like not playing every game all game. Same as Messi/ Ronaldo/ Kane/ Suarez etc. Sign of a winner!

Good grief, not this again, really? Earlier in the season, people moaned cos Salah was not doing pirouettes and cartwheels after scoring or cos he was not sticking his tongue out long enuff or showing his gnashers wide enuff after scoring. Now, this whole non-issue is back again?

Also, what's there to smile about? The guys has scored a hatful of goals in the past 2 seasons for Roma, LFC and country so what's the the big deal? Is the excitement of us winning games, scoring goals and keeping clean sheets not enuff for some cos an inquiry has to be opened each time he does not celebrate?

IMO, Salah's scoring goals is no longer a big deal. We have bigger fish to fry at this point so we need to have that mean streak if we want to have any chance of wresting the title from City or even get past Napoli which will be NO cake walk.

People celebrate 8n different ways. Forget the jumping up and down, or the high fives or the slides etc, just look at Mo's determination in his eyes when he scores, and the look on his face. He is happy to score, he is happy for the team, he is happy he put his side in a better position. He just doesn't celebrate the way others do!
