Ok - one for the stats folks: when, if ever, has the ball gone from the keeper to left foot of one player, left foot of another player, left foot of another player, goal? Cos it happened last night. History folks.

That must have happened before surely! Great stat, great goal.

I think we showed what a quality squad we have last night. Sturridge was excellent, Keita was blistering and my motm. Even origi did some good things, setting up milly for the equaliser.

I didn’t watch it but listen to it and all they said was he gave the ball away, lost the ball or shot when he shouldn’t have!

Salah I agree to a point on Studge. Once Mo and Bobby came on he dropped a bit deep and started playing lovely balls forward. His pass to Mo to set up 3rd goal an example . He did what was needed and well at that in the final 20 minutes.

Maybe sturridge should be playing deeper so he can have more opportunities too shoot from range an attack from deeper he has also got decent passing an creativity, just a thought since his pace has deteriorated and he naturally drops deep Any way.

Very difficult for sturridge or origi to do anything when our midfield were happy passing to our defenders whenever they received the ball, so were our fullbacks most of the game.

Sturridge did everything he does every game, gave the ball away needlessly, took a shot from absurb angle instead of passing the ball, waa slowing down the play with extra touches and being scared of getting injured. The only good thing he did the whole game was that pass to Salah.

Absolute rubbish. He played cute football around the box, started the move for our third. He can shoot, can pass and has vision. He can also pull out a goal from nowhere. Danny sturridge is a class act. If you can't see that you must be blind. No offence.
