With Rumours that both Mane and Robbo may not make tomorrow's game im not so worried over Mane as Shaq can cover him but bringing in Moreno to cover Robbo is for ne not ideal I really feel this is the one area in our squad that needs to be addressed in January
Having a player in our side who the oppostion can target to attack is not good
Moreno for me is just not good enough to be cover we need better and hopefully this will come from within the squad but if not then a good left back who can push robbo for his spot would be perfect which would mean we could also interchange them for games like we do trent and Joe.

The best way for me, to ensure defence stability, would be to bring lovren in and put Joe at left back. Really think that would work.

I think it's very difficult to get a quality backup player and Moreno does atleast try to be fair. Although from the Eds daily review it looks like their could be some interest in Moreno from Marsielle and Sevilla.

I think it would be great to find an experienced LB to play as backup who could maybe even fill in at RB if needed, an experienced head like Milner who will simply be reliable when needed and be a good presence in the dressing room. But who!?

I'm actually of the opposite view regarding Mane. He is IMO, our inform player in terms of speed, grit and ability to make things happen. Could he score more goals? Absolutely BUT not only is he getting chances, he is creating for others as well. His penalty vs PSG was ALL Mane cos he won the ball, dove thru the heart of the PSG defence and won that penalty. I feel he will be missed vs Burnley even tho Shaq will offer something different and positive.

As for Moreno, we all just have to hope he plays well and make sure he gets help from the midfielders cos isolated vs Lennon (even tho he has lost a few steps) could be trouble.

Easy decisions. Origi in for Mane to reward his hard work. Milner or Gomez at left back. No bother. Burnley have bigger injury concerns than we do and have been shocking all season. If we fail to win it will be nobodies fault but the players for being complacent.

Although Moreno is a liability in defence he does genuinely seem to have been a good player to have in the dressing room and at the club. I would give him a run out to keep him happy knowing we have that young fella on loan in Belgium (sorry his name escapes me maybe it’s arroyo ) as well as a Scottish lad we bought last year I think Gallagher. Agree with George that buying a quality player who will accept being back up will be tough so let’s give Moreno a run out and let these guys develop who will hopefully push Robertson for a place in the future. but Robbie is there to stay long term imo.

Ha anyways we don't have better, so if Robbo needs a rest get Moreno in. He isn't as bad as people say, but obviously any little error gets blown out. Juat get him in and keep the team ticking over.
