Good Morning Ed001
hope your well
just a quick question, do you envisage Adam L or Matip being sold this summer and maybe even Gini and james milner leaving on a free?
or would that be too much chopping and changing?

{Ed001's Note - I expect a fair amount of chopping and changing yes. Probably Matip, Lallana and Clyne, at least, leaving in the next two windows. Milner Klopp would like to keep but he is keeping his options open as he wants to be a regular. Personally I think he is waiting to see if Leeds get promoted, then he will look for a return there on a free I think.}

cheers for the reply Ed001 would you personally want to keep milner?
I think I would prefer him to leave and let us start blooding in a youngster say for example curtis jones as we have gini and hendo for the the bite in midfield role and gini also and fabinho but very little in the way of genuine creativeness other then keita and shaqiri
Also do you think Klopp will bring back Wilson next season to be a full time part of the squad?
I would love him to come off the bench and see just how good he can be.

{Ed001's Note - I would rather offload Wijnaldum than Milner. Personally I would like Milner to stay at least one more year.

I don't know what will happen with Wilson, it will depend on him. He needs to earn his place in pre-season, not just while on loan. I expect Klopp to give him a chance, though this ridiculous early closing of the window makes it damn near impossible for teams to take chances with youth players. If he doesn't play well then the team can't go out and buy a replacement, so there will be less youngsters getting chances than ever before in the Premier League.}

in a ideal world Ed001 what midfielder would you bring into Anfield to give up a little more spark going foward?

{Ed001's Note - in an ideal world David Silva without question. Actually no, not at the age he is now, Saul would be the ideal choice. Though I do feel we badly missed out by not following up our interest in Lemar, he is like someone took Fekir on FIFA and upped all his stats slightly.}

For me if we could find a young version of Juan mata which tbh is probably saul Niguez lol I would love that
Bernado Silva would have been great for us imo.

{Ed001's Note - Mata? Mata is just a slower, less technically brilliant version of David Silva. Everything Mata can do Silva can do much better. Saul is nothing like Mata, he is not slow for starters.

I really like the look of Rodri as well in that Atletico side - I have heard people compare him to Busquets but he is much better than him. He can actually run for starters, Busquets can barely move.}

Top top call there Ed Rodri is class player in the making
I did say young version of mata not as in mata lol
just someone with his ability
Soler of valencia is class as well Ed and would definitely be in the reckoning for me
We could go on all day so I thank you for all your replies
hopefully Klopp reads this thread lol
Have a great day mate.

{Ed001's Note - I have not seen a lot of Valencia, whereas I watched a lot of Atletico to write the player profiles of their centre backs recently, hence why I mention so many of their players. I will have to have a look out for Soler if I get a chance.}

I would like David Silva even now, I think he has a few years left yet. His vision and ability in our midfield with the movement of our front 3 would see a few teams get slaughtered.
Is Thomas Lemar playing well at Ath Madrid Ed01, not heard much about him really.

{Ed001's Note - looked good when I saw him. Looks a lot quicker than I remembered, probably because he is not playing alongside the blistering pace of Mbappe, so no longer looks comparatively slower.}

Silva is fantastic ed. thoughts on Isco? I'd love the guy at Liverpool.

{Ed001's Note - not for me, no footballing brain.}

I think we should be looking at Brooks of Bournemouth next summer. He has some serious potential behind the forwards. His composure and vision is sublime.

Morning Ed001, do you see us moving for a new creative player in the summer?

{Ed001's Note - no that is why we signed Shaqiri.}

Fair enough, I think when Keita gets up to speed, we’ll have a bit more dynamism in midfield., Ox to come back too.
Ed002 mentioned we didn’t need Keita, what’s your thoughts on that mate?

{Ed001's Note - I disagree, I think we do need him with Milner's contract coming to an end and Wijnaldum disappointing far too often. Ox might never get back to his best, so we couldn't wait on him, we needed someone to provide driving runs from midfield.}

Me too and totally agree re Gini, it’s a shame because the ability is there.
I really hope Ox comes back strong, he proved me wrong when we signed him.

I saw you mention not pushing in for Lemar, again that’s a good shout.

Anyway, it it was it is! So I’m off the the Derby now, couple of scoops, all good.

Cheers Ed001.

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed you have a good day and see a win for the Reds.}

Sorry to throw another name in there but what about Moreno?

13.) 03 Dec 2018
03 Dec 2018 13:44:03
I agree Drogie Gini does look like he has all ability but just goes missing far to often as for Ox did not know why we signed him but he just got better and better and the drive he gave us through the middle of the park is so badly missing so I really hope he gets back to his best to partner Keita would give us real drive in there.
COME ON RED MEN YNWA.
