Hey ed01 this question is little different from usual. For the current team which player in the world will you add? for fellow reds too. I would like someone who runs at denfense like chamberlain but also can unlock defence at will.

{Ed001's Note - had this exact same question yesterday mate, and I will stick with the same answer, N'Golo Kante. He is the best player in the world right now.}

Here’s one on the opposite side then Ed. Which of the front 3 would you let go.

{Ed001's Note - none unless they wanted to go.}

A politicians answer lol.

{Ed001's Note - it is not a question that can be answered any other way. There is no reason to get rid of any.}

If you had to lose one though Is what I meant.

{Ed001's Note - it is like asking you to choose between your kids! It would probably have to be Mane though.}

'it is like asking you to choose between your kids'

Hahaha about right isn't it.

Mane for me as well.

I would lose Salah, but only for £250M and let Klopp find the next one.

Ed01 do you think Chelsea's play is holding him back a little? they have put jorginho in his position haven't they? im not sure as i haven't watched them a lot.

{Ed001's Note - Kante normally plays slightly further back, but not as deep as Jorginho, he has never been a holding player. The only time he played that way was when Conte first took charge and Chelsea went through a terrible run until he realised Kante was being stifled and swapped it around so Matic sat and Kante had freedom. Now he has the opposite problem, he is slightly too far forward and it is stopping him breaking up play the way he should from a slightly deeper position. At least he has the freedom he needs but he is a little too advanced to make the most of his key assets.}

Chelsea aren’t really being exposed, despite the change and lack of a deep defensive-minded player (though Jorginho can put his foot in)?
City have Fernandinho who can do both roles too, though his midfield partners more than make up for any creative shortfall.
Is this Keita’s eventual position do you feel Ed001, a sort of deep-lying playmaker who is mobile and can compete?

It does feel that the move away from the all-out press has disrupted our midfield balance somewhat. Do you know when you get a jigsaw and you have to jam the pieces in to fit, lol, it feels rather like that?

{Ed001's Note - Keita is not a playmaker, he is a driving force midfielder who runs with the ball to create space for throughballs or shots. He needs to play near the edge of the box, not deep.}

Cheers Ed.
Where do you play him in a 3?
Wide means a lot of tracking back to cover the full back?

{Ed001's Note - I would play him in the Milner role, Milner does what he does, only drifts further wide doing it.}

Just speculation from me, but given that Mane is the only one from the front 3 who has not signed a new contract, it will probably be him who is the first to leave. Otherwise, why is he so happy earning much less than the other two? I know contracts are not that simple and easy, of course, but makes you wonder doesn't it?
