It would make sense for you's so long as you had a well thought out, adequate replacement lined up. If it is a sacking with absolutely no consideration to the next several steps then I don't see how you's would benefit at all. Hughes is woeful, and should be dismissed, but only when you have a genuinely good candidate lined up. Giving Hughes the job was the massive error - sacking him and them giving it to someone equally inadequate could put you on a course for relegation. Treacherous times for you boys, tread carefully.

They should NEVER have hired him full time after he helped them avoid the drop. Why? He was THE reason Stoke went down last season.
