Reading so much about Liverpool not winning anything after spending this spending that under Klopp.

For those who remember, the supposedly greatest manager ever to grace the earth joined United in 86 and didn't win anything until he 89/ 90 season.

Martin Edwards gave Ferguson huge sums of money in order to knock " Liverpool off their perch " and took years.

Managers aren't given enough time in this day and age, for me sticking by Klopp is the way forward.

Klopps going now where unless he decides to!

Where in this together and for the long haul!

There isn't a single person who could fill the huge whole klopp would leave if he left.

It depends on how patient the owners are.

We should only sack him when the team begins to stagnate and stop progressing for a relatively long period of time. Not only that there really aren’t many better alternatives out there. We haven’t won anything yet, that is someone frustrating, but the manager understands the club better than anyone since evans, the players give their all for him and that sense of pride and community can only lead to success at one point or another when combined with the football that i know we can play. Also, we have managed to get to 3 finals under klopp. We haven’t been successful in any of them but that last one really just wasn’t our day. Form isn’t good but we’re still right up there with Chelsea and City who have been playing out of their skins. We are close. If City beat us to the league this season, we’ll have been bested by one of the greatest teams in the domestic competition of this country, just as we were bested by one of the greatest teams in the history of European football as well in May. I’d much rather be sat here saying it is us who are the history makers, but always remember, the other guys are getting paid too. These teams are not just lifeless obstacles for us to overcome; they are other teams who are just as afraid of failure as we are.

Spitting our dummy out because of a few bad results is not the way we need to go. I’m sure we will figure it out in the end.

Anyone who is even remotely entertaining the thought of whether or not klopp should be moved on is mad in the head.

We were in the final of the champions league last year and we are second in the league this year with a great start points wise.

Since klopp has been here we have been in 3 finals and are now looking like we could be in the mix for a title challenge for a prolonged period of years.

Back five looks a real unit now when we play our best five.

Midfield needs a bit of work and injuries haven't helped. I believe klopp will sort it next summer at the latest.

We are bound to have one of the lowest age averages in the league and there are some tidy looking youth players at the club who can hopefully make the jump down the line.

Last year liverpool were playing the best football we have played since 89.

I believe after crimbo we will get back to that.

Silver needs to go on the table i get that, ultimately that's how all things are judged at elite clubs.

I believe under klopp it will be a matter when and not if.

If we get through the group stage we are already at a better overall standing than we were last year at the same point.

If that's not progress what is?

Bob Paisley was greater than Fergie.

Listen. The owners have made enough cock ups with their previous manager signings. Even I don't think they are that thick to remotely even think about giving Klopp his marching orders. We have got to 2 big finals and certainly been unfortunate in one of them. We look like a team that can sustain a challenge in the League, maybe a few midfielders need changed in the long term. We play good football and we have players that would certainly be worth if they happen to move on. We surely have to be close to silverware, I'm sure of it🙄.

Spot on, IR. The owners know what they are talking about and what they ar e doing and people should stop thinking for them. IMO, if people think they are going to sack Klopp any time soon then they are living in la la land. I have said several times before, Klopp is our best chance of winning a trophy any time soon. Also, it's not like the managers we have had have been pulling any trees since Rafa left. Klopp has cleaned up BR's mess and the transfer team has been revamped and we are getting players who are not just quality, but are ready to reject other big clubs to come to us. Who do these people think made that happen? It is Klopp.

We are three times the team and squad that he found when he arrived and tho more work needs to be done, we are on the cusp of not just being a very good team BUT a great team. Klopp has earned my trust with the great work he has done and I am ready to ride with him till the very end and if the moaners want him sacked then they had better start rooting for us to lose finals cos clearly, that will make us win the PL anytime soon.

Well said Wolverine - people seem to forget we’ve gone from languishing in 5/ 6th most years to the CL final and now unbeaten and competitive in the PL against one of the highest ever points scoring sides in history. This points tally we have now would have put us top of the league in the vast majority of seasons past.

To anyone even thinking about sacking Klopp, they need their head read. Yes titles are crucial in the long run, but we have come from a long way back and counting whether we’ve won an FA cup or EFL cup as ‘success’ (there was little chance of winning the others with our squad in previous years to be honest) is not nearly as important as building the foundations for continuous success in the PL and CL.

Be patient.

There's no doubt that Paisley was greater. His problem was that he was a modest man at a club that didn't have the same glamour as m.u. I remember as a young man that he was regarded as the real power behind the throne during the Shankly reign. The fact that he was never awarded a knighthood while Jack Charlton and Bobby Robson were is one of the greatest anomalies of football awards.
