Hello Ed's. When is Naby expected back? Any thoughts on what he might give our mids considering the lack of attacking prowess? Thanks.

{Ed0333's Note - back for the next game and he’ll give us a kick up the backside and some attacking prowess hopefully

Thanks ed03333. That is what I was hoping. Our mid is okay, solid but lack thay x factor. I am hoping Naby can give is that.

{Ed0333's Note - sorry mate I meant he was back for the Fulham game the game on Tuesday may be a little early. We need him firing on all cylinders and quickly because our midfield and forwards need linking and I can only see Naby in this current squad capable of that role. We are desperately missing The Ox.

I approve that message, Ed.

{Ed0333's Note - I’m not sure you should get too excited mate he could take a while to get to the level he was in Germany. I’m praying he turns the corner very very quickly because boy do we need him.

Is Curtis Jones not worth a little punt I know he is very young but I would rather see him getting a go than lallana, I have nothing against lallana when he was fit and on it he was crucial but the injuries and time out the team have took is toll and Curtis Jones is the future.

Nice one I just think he would add more thrust and passion, obviously Keita an Shaqiri I think can do a good job.

You are right on that point, Ed. I followed Keita t RBL all of last season and he is a beast, "two players in one" as Melissa Reddy always says when talking about him. I hope he can get up to speed as well in due time.

{Ed0333's Note - on reflection after yesterday’s game I’m feeling a trifle more positive Rover. As an earlier poster alluded to by this time in the season usually we’re out of the title race already so that’s progression. We were arguably without 3 first teasers yesterday The Ox, our captain and maybe more importantly Keita. I truly hope he can turn that corner because he truly is the key to a more cohesive winning type of football.

Ed0333 how do you feel with shaqiri playing the role linking defensive and attack

Him and firmino swapping well.

{Ed0333's Note - I’m not sure Dezy that Shaqiri is the answer. I’m not convinced that he’s has the quality to play and effect the game for 90 mins. I prefer him on the right hand side if I had to choose a position for him.

I think shaquiri can link them ed? It frustrates me that he’s not playing because it seems as though he is the one, when he plays, that does link the midfield to the attackc, the front 3 almost seem isolated at times. It’s surely no coincidence our best displays have been with him in the team, Bobby was having to come to the half way line to get involved, we need some creativity into the from 3 for them to spark off.

{Ed0333's Note - I understand where your coming from mate but we’re still in the early stages of the season and players will play themselves into or out of the team. Shaqiri is the answer is specific games not all games.
