Looking at the squad we are missing someone too carry the ball forward and link midfield with attack oxelaide Chamberlain was perfect for this and we miss him, which leads me too next issue would we rather have Curtis Jones in the squad than lallana can't help thinking he could offer more only thing lallana has on him is experience.

We are definitely missing chamberlain but I think Keita, once he gets into the groove, can do the linking business.

I also feel Lallana along with struridge need to have a great season if we are to win anything.

I actually feel a little for Lallana. He’s being hung out to dry for a poor performance after a injury ravished 2 years. I can’t see him getting many starts for us to be honest and will more than likely move in the next window or 2. A few seasons ago he was integral to Klopp and in my opinion has always tried to give his best.

Hopefully our strength-in-depth is such this season that we don't need to resort to youth players to fill holes. However, now that TAA and Gomez are established 'first teamers' and we can't really think of them as youth prospects any more, it would be brilliant to see some glimpses of the future and whomever Klopp is going to promote and bring through next; even if it's a few minutes off the bench when we have a good lead. Jones is a good shout. Personally I would say that Lallana still has something to offer this team though.

OP, you are correct re: Ox. He and not Fekir, is the one we miss the most in that system that Klopp employed last season. He was the one who broke the lines from midfield, driving at the opposition's defence with pace, power and precision. He could lay a pass or shoot and score goals.

Now make no mistake about it, Naby is MORE than capable of doing that. Take the word from a guy who spent the whole of last season at RBL where he was dynamite in the second half of the season (after some issues in the first half of last season) . He has the ability to do EVERYTHING Ox can do and even more cos he is that kind of beast of a player.

The problem is that he is battling injuries and STILL needs time to settle cos even tho, RBL play the high press, Klopp's system is way more complicated than that and in fact, we don't even play the high press anymore, per se. As for Curtis Jones, I don't know if he's ready so I'll leave that to Klopp.
