Did anyone see Dier's challenge on Ramos? Classic. Is he a Liverpool fan?

Was a good tackle, 1 footed, got the ball completely and the change in direction and momentum from the ball caused Ramos to start going down before he was even touched by Dier on the follow through.

However Ramos gets up and complains like he has never done that sort of thing to another player before, take it on the chin like players do when on the end of one of your tackles does you mook.

I saw it described as a “fantastically pointless clattering” which seems apt. I can’t think of a more dislikable figure currently in football, the stamp on Raheem last night exemplifies that. fair play to dier.

To be honest Den, it would still be deemed a good tackle in the eyes of any decent ref. If it was a defender vs attacker it would definitely have not been a pen.

Growing up on Merseyside before moving to Lisbon I’d be surprised if he wasn’t a Liverpool fan but please don’t start a campaign to buy him! His skills are level with his name.
