Announced lineup against ManC:

Alisson, Gomez, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Henderson, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

So TAA gets a rest (but on the bench) with Gomez taking his place. And Keita is available on the bench too.

makes no sense - Gomez can fill in at right back but it is definitely not a position he is comfortable in, least compared to centre-back. Hope this selection doesn't come back to haunt us.

To be fair Lovren had a good game today. I still prefer Gomez as CB but you've got to call it as you see it.

Seano, it was clear for anyone with their eyes open the past few games, to see that TAA needed a blow so why not play Gomez there esp. since he played the whole of last season at RB, right? Oh, did I mention that Lovs and Gomez played a blinder? Klopp has a message for you and it goes, "You're welcome".
