Hi Ed001, I'm sure the player profile list must be ridiculous at this point, but if he's not already there could you add Falcao? Always been one of my favourite players. Possibly the best striker in the world before his injury.

Ed01, what do you think about Turkish Hakan Sukur? Legend in your eyes?

{Ed001's Note - I suppose he has to be really. I had not thought about it before, but he would have to qualify for the goals he scored for his nation. Legendary status is not just about being the best players in the world, I think.}

For a moment there I thought you were talking about the Brazilian Falcao. What a player. A DM/ CM who could score as well as any AM. Lousy manager though.

With you there, Ed. I loved Sukur as a teenager growing up even tho, he seemed to forget his immense talent and ability at home whenever he went abroad to AC Milan or Inter Milan) . However for his country, he was a god. A true national treasure and the real definition for the word Talisman. They may have not won games with him BUT they could never win W/ O him. Great player. He came up with the youth setup in Turkey in 1994 with the U23's that included Rustu (GK), Bulent, Hakan Unsal, Ergun Pembe, etc (all in the 3rd place WC team of 2002), all under the guidance of another legendary manager named Fatih Terim.

{Ed001's Note - he was a bit like those two Chilean strikers Zamarano and was it Sala? I can't think of his name right now. They seemed to grow when they put on their country's shirt and he was the same. It seemed to give him another 10% to his game.}
