I recently criticized Studge for being bang average the past few appearances. I'll have 3 slices of humble pie and eat them with the biggest grin.

That’s 4 goals this season as a bit part player. Deserves more credit than he’s had so far.

What if I say Sturridge should start every game from now on?

Studge can’t play with the intensity of Bobby so we lose a bit when he starts. Chelsea found it too easy to play out from the back on Wednesday. As an impact sub though he could be invaluable.

Kudos to Klopp for making those subs brave calls and the right ones as well as it turned out
very very happy tonight I must say
Nice to see we can bring off Salah and still get the results when needed.

He's scored every game. He is always capable of what he did today. I thought we deserved something from the game too, now we have to beat them at home. Good team though, they will push us this season.

I think Sturridge deserves more minutes.

{Ed025's Note - i think cameo performances suit both him and the club deejay..

Super sub studge.
Reminds me of years ago when united used to win the league all the bloody time, they always used to have a so called super sub who would always seem get them out of the $hit whenever things were not going their way.

I think being an impact sub suits Sturridge perfectly, even though his ego may want to start every game. Putting the ball into the net is his skill. But pressing and work rate and passing off to the other 2 in front, are not his strong points. The team is not the same without that. Neither is Mane's and Salah's game.

We used to have our own Super Sub - David Fairclough. I remember watching him in games and he almost always delivered. Red haired, gangly string bean.

I have always said that the best CF in England in terms of natural talent, is NOT and will NEVER be Harry Kane. Studger is THAT dude. Take a bow, son!

That's true mickey. That norweigan kid. I think Danny could be that man. Also if one of the front three gets injured then Danny provides very good cover.

But he is joint top scorer, he has to at least be considered to start and to definitely come on as a sub if not.

Short backlift and England’s best technique. Never doubted his skills! He is a world class striker who has been let down by his injuries!

Just goes to show that form is temporary, class is permanent. He is such a useful option for us. Wouldn't be surprised if he got an England call-up soon. Just hope and pray he doesn't get injured.

He should always come on at 60 mins at this point as mane and salah are off their game and need a kick by being subbed. I don't think sturridge should start every game though because I don't think his body can handle it. Should only start studge if no other option.

Remember firmino against psg same kind of thing it just means we have 2 very capable number 9s instead of having memory loss and bigging one player up one week then another the next when they score a great goal. It's great to be able to bring a player on that can change the game something we have missed in previous seasons.
As for the result a draw away against a team that will finish third imo is a very good result.
