I have 2 observations having just watched Chelsea play (though i do take in to account post champions league game away for them and delay getting back) :

1) they lose the ball a lot when pressed

2) they are very open to the counter attack and pace with Sarri's system

As they are playing at home for the league game they will try and attack us which I feel suits us down to the ground (and could be similar to spurs game) .

Which is why I said we would batter them weeks ago.

The system now is absolute perfection for us to win.

Chelsea use to be our kryptonite now they are our bread and butter games!

Just watch.

They have had a good start and they have some of the world's very best players in hazard and Kante but I believe they will fall away. They aren't as strong as they were last year on paper.

Losing to Liverpool will start to put their season in perspective. City are the competition and they don't seem as strong as they were last year, missing de bryne I think. Where as we look stronger, are stronger and have come through the big tests with 3 lovely points.

The used to be a time where Liverpool supporters were considered the most knowledgeable, but now we are among the most arrogant.
Chelsea have done well so far this season, as have we. Whilst I also hope we batter them, I expect a tough game.
The players Chelsea have, demands us to respect them as opponents. To call a top 4 rival, no matter how much we dislike them, 'our bread and butter, is the type of comment that will come back to bite us.
How about we show a bit of the Bob Paisley about us and go about things in a humble fashion?

I respect Chelsea. They are a good team. Not as much as I respect utd, arsenal and even spurs. I don't think they are genuine title contenders though. I don't think they will win the champions league.

The way they play.

It's the exact team we tear to pieces. Did you not defuse absolutely dominate against psg.

If teams try and play against us we just murder them it's as simple as that, do you not know how good we are nowadays.

Put men behind the ball and respect us or you will come unstuck.

Lets not get cocky and over confident everyone. It will be a tough game. They have some really good players and a good attacking system.

Chelsea are a decent side and have a fantastic player in Hazard that can turn the game on it’s head.

I expect a hard fought encounter.

A lesson to take note of today as WHU shackled Hazard and Alonso. It can be done. And they will have to cope with our front three running at them. It will be a good game.

These are my observations from West Ham-Chelsea game:
1. They kick off in very attacking fashion (very unusual as pointed out by Jamie on Monday Night Football), and they most of the time aerial pass on the left hand side (where there is presence of Hazard and Alonso) what I believe there target is to attack in first moments where opposition are caught unaware.

2. The focal point of there play is through Jorginho, who reminds me of Xabi Alonso. Helps the defence when under opposition attack and starts play when under possession.

3. Hazard is given free role in this Sarri's system, striker Giroud acts as target man and midfielder Kante's role in this system has changed to B2B instead of destroyer in previous managers system.

4. Alonso's main emphasis is on attack more, so most of their attack are from left side, while Aspi turns defence 2 into 3 while under possession.

How I believe that we should play against Chelsea:
1. I believe Sarri will make their players to play counter attack, rather than possession based attack against us. Which means Alonso won't be given licence to bomb forward.

2. Our strength is to recover ball asap and intelligent press, which will be fruitful against them.

3. Long balls will be a threat with Giroud on field and his ability to pass the ball to players alongside him (Pedro, Willian, Hazards, etc. ) which needs to be look out for.

4. When the backline and jorginho will be pressed they will make mistakes, but we should also be careful not to commit too many personnels forward as they are good on counter and have great individual talents.

5. Finally, we should convert the chances that we create.

Chelsea and City completed my top 3 picks for this season’s premier league.

I have 2 observation.
Kante is underused. Coz he is no Hamsik, and won’t ever score goals that Sarri wants from his midfielders! Between Jorginho and Kante Sarri has to drop one.

Chelsea should have never passed on Fekir!
