Thanks Ed good review. I’ve always found the O’Niell and Keane good cop bad cop pairing a bit strange. Is Keane in the top 5 worst pundits ever? I think so. What did you think of him as a player?

{Ed001's Note - Keane and O'Neill are two of the worst managers you could think of to pair together. It makes no sense. O'Neill is a dinosaur but Keane makes him look modern in his thinking and is an utter tit of a man. Was a great player though, not as good as some people (Ed007 for instance) seem to think. He was not on the same level as Vieira, for example, but he was a really good player. I just never understand how him slagging off fans has become something to be applauded. His talking about the 'prawn sandwich brigade' at Old Trafford was out of order. Those people paid his bloody wages and the ungrateful tit moans because they weren't loud enough. Perhaps he should just thank them for making the effort and paying huge sums to the club that employed him, so that the club could afford his obscene wages? How he or anyone else can justify him walking out on his country is beyond me as well. He knew exactly what it was like before he went there, so why go in the first place if you think it is such a mess? For someone who supposedly loves the quiet life, he really loves the attention....}

The Napoli President is basically admitting that his club is not good enough to qualify from their group. Can't be good for the players as they will feel their president has no faith in them to get through.
He could have just said that Napoli have gotten the toughest group of the lot but his team will try their best to beat LFC and PSG, but instead he whines like a little girl.

Just thought that I would let everyone know that I strongly dislike Roy Keane. I started reading his autobiography a little while ago and had to give up, the guy is a bellend. that is all.

Cheers Ed001, I’m surprised Marchisio has gone to Zenit. Always been one of my favourite players, though I suppose his injury record and age don’t help him. Also spurs new stadium is a mess, did they ever really think it would be done in time?

for me I lost respect for the man and he all he stood for after that

Ed001, what are you thoughts on the length of Henderson's contract?

I remember you mentioning there may still be some doubts within the club about his long term fitness, however a 5 year deal seems to suggest otherwise?

It's nice to hear Klopp's praise of him though, I am constantly arguing with non-Liverpool fans about Hendo's true quality and worth to a team. To me he is such an integral part of both the Liverpool and England set up.

I like listening to Keane when he’s criticising ManU or Mourinho because he gives it both barrels whether justified or not. It’s a bit like car crash TV because the presenter knows exactly how to get a reaction from him.

Having said that, there is a lot to dislike about the man on a personal level and also it seems he’s fighting a solo battle against the modern game and the modern footballer.

Respect is a 2-way street and I’ve never heard Keane being respectful to anyone. Very good player in his day 🤝.
