I don't get why everyone is saying this is a hard group. We need to stop acting like a small club I think we will win the group as we are better than PSG and Napoli are not at our level. Red Star have no chance. Expect nothing less than 13 points.

We are now one of the best 5 sides in europe and we are still on an upward curve. We should fear no one, let them fear us.

There’s a balance between inferiority complex and delusion Mark. Top 5 sides in Europe? On our day yes, but not over a sustained period of time, not even close. We’re just creeping back into the big time at the moment and it’s important not to get complacent or arrogant.

very positive post Mark, its something that will come into play, as we win more games, we got to the Final last season, and I think that we have greatly improved the team / squad, so why not believe that we can go all the way again .

87 come on man. VVD is one of the very best defenders in the world. Allison is top class. Keita will be as good as any midfielder over this Champions league campaign and everyone tells me we have the best front 3 in the world.

Either we have or we don't. We have a top manager, a young hungry squad. I say 100% top 5 in Europe. I would love this side to play Madrid now. You come back after the group stages and tell me I am wrong and I will hold my hands up. Nothing to do with what day it is.

We have a very exciting team no doubt and I think we should make it through the groups.

But in my opinion the sort of confidence you’re displaying and a top 5 team in Europe is where we’re heading, not there yet. We’ve been in ECL twice in the last 10 years, one final appearance doesn’t change that. To be top 5 in Europe you need to be making the latter stages consistently. It’s extremely disrespectful towards real, Barca, Bayern, athletico, Juventus etc.
