Cheers mate. Top man.

Missing Henderson is all I think it is.

This always happens when he doesn't play, we look nowhere near as good.

Everyone seems to know where they are when he is on the pitch.

I think the fill backs commit more aswel knowing he's there to sweep up.

This isn’t a dig at Hendo but I’m not really sure why he seems to be getting all the praise of saying we are missing him. From what I have seen we have won all 3 games and were already ahead in each game when he came on. When he has come on he’s done ok. But its not as if he’s set the world alight when he has come on or actually won us the games. I’m all for giving credit but he’s nowhere near as important as the likes of Bobby, Mo, Mane, VVD or Allison.

I'd argue JK23 that while we may have been ahead in all three games, the last two were incredibly nervy finishes. Henderson may not be the best creator in the team, but he's incredibly effective at helping to see the game out. I thought his introduction against Brighton added a sense of calmness to the midfield that was desperately needed. Might not have won without him.

Because apart from the west ham game and they where bad we have delivered some of the worst football under klopp apart from a solid last 15 against palace where we looked liked ourselves, when hendo came on.

Where all cool because we know exactly how good we are but it's certainly telling thag where not at our shiny best an our captain isn't in the team.

Its guys like you who i worry about, do you even watch football. How can you not appreciate and admire the job that he does.

He has absolutely no bells and most certainly no whistle but he is an excellent cm and there aren't many better at that role who can do absolutely everything.

Kloppsboss always good to resort to insults when someone dares to share a different opinion than you. There’s certainly no need for you to worry about me though mate and I watch plenty of football and understand it after playing at a considerably high level in my past. Not once in my comment did I slate him or say he doesn’t do a job for us. All I said was we were leading in all 3 games before he came on so the team without him must have done something alright. Hopefully Klopp sorts out his worst ever football though and gets Hendo back in the side asap for you.

Eamsonf appreciate the matured reply and don’t get me wrong I’m not saying Hendo shouldn’t be starting as I’m actually as surprised as the next person that he’s not been picked ahead of Wijnaldum. I just think it’s a little injustice to the other lads when certain fans are campaigning to get him in the side at the expense of players who have earned us 3 wins from 3 this season.

There is the argument that if it isn't broke don't fix it, but rotation is important in the modern game. Though we may have won the first three games, I wouldn't mind the introduction of Henderson or Fabinho (when ready) into the midfield.

Also Ed001 I enjoyed your match review, but had to go to the football news site to view it. Might be worth posting here as well, great read for those who haven't had the chance to check it out.

Eamsonf agree mate and I’m actully surprised we haven’t seen more rotation yet or earlier substitutions but I’m sure Klopp knows what he is doing. For me I don’t think Wijnaldum will be first choice in our midfield for long but whilst he is currently there he is doing a decent job and him along with the rest of the players have contributed to us having maximum points from our start.

I think Wijnaldum is doing a better than decent job in midfield, he’s been one of our best performers this year. It’s nice to have quality and strength in depth.

Did you post the review Ed? For some reason I'm not able to find it.

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, it is on our football-news-views site but the autolinks are not generating properly so this is the link to the article itself: Liverpool v Brighton match review

Apart from the West Ham game, we've lacked the influence of Hendo in the middle of the park. Yes, Gini can win the ball back, but his distribution is way too cautious, Hendo adds an extra edge to our play in moving the ball quicker and into better positions.
