I wouldn’t get too over excited at this juncture, Everton signed Ajax’s captain last season and look how that went 🙈.

Frode Kippe, Djimi Traore (the new Desailly), Le Tallec, Sinama-Pongolle, Pacheco, Suso there will be dozens more. We’ve a history of signing the next big thing and they end up leaving having played less than 20 games for us and never fulfilling their potential.
