I think we'd all love to sign Fekir. I know I would. The thing is Klopp probably needs more time to see where Keita's best position is. Maybe Keita will be the Coutinho replacement. Keita can play deeper but Klopp may want him in a position where he is more involved in the attack. The two of them could play together but we should probably off load Llana before signing Fekir. Not saying I know that much but food for thought.

{Ed0333's Note - what if Keita gets injured or loses form? Man city have lost De Bruyne for a while and have at least three excellent players to fill the void who do we have have?

Well keita alternative could be ox and we can't just buy to replace a player who's injured. Gini and lallana can also play that attacking cm position.

Shaqiri is a winger, not to mention our only good cover out wide, expecting him to cover cm (a position he's never played before, is just silly.

We need to forget about the Ox for this season. Given the scope of the injuries and our knowledge of it with others (Danny Ings, Radamel Falcao), we know apart from the rehabilitation, it takes a lot of time to achieve a match fitness level. I think the 2018/ 19 season is going to be a write off for him.

I think with the option to play hendo and Fabinho, we can afford the extra position to the likes of Sturridge or Shaqiri, someone less defensive minded, or even drop Firmino deeper.
