Eds and reds, just thought we move away from the transfers; was just having a chat with my brother on the current squad and we came up with a few interesting points. I appreciate at the end of the day they are all just opinions but interesting to hear thoughts on this:

1. Best striker of the ball- I’m very impressed with TAA and how clean it looks every time he hits the ball.

2. Best dribbler- obviously it’s just pre season and YouTube but keita looks like he’s just next level with his dribbling.

3. Best passer- Hendo.

Id say Sturridge over his career has shown he is the best striker of a ball we have. can't score from the treatment table though.

Oh yes I agree Red, studge’s hit is very clean and precise. I think it was Ed001 who mentioned it the last time that it’s amazing how he can just hit the ball with such force and with so little backlift as well.

{Ed025's Note - he is also the most comfortable looking player on a treatment table and has got that fake limp off to a tee AZK...pure quality.. :)

I think its hard to judge who is the best passer. Hendo keeps the team ticking over by constantly keeping the ball moving but the majority of his passes are over a short distance, although he does have a long ball in his locker. If you’re looking for penetrating passes then Firmino could be the one as he tries a lot more risky through balls. Amazingly Allison might be up there this season.

{Ed0333's Note - I think Keita will take the accolade by the end of the season.

See if you're laughing by the end of tomorrow night Ed025.
The Wolves are circling, oooowwww, haha.

{Ed025's Note - and its a banana skin if ever there was one juicer, teams that come up usually start off on fire and we are breaking in a new manager with a new system and a lot of new players, but i will still be smiling mate as its my nature..

Cmon Ed025, he’s not that bad mate, lol. Cannot deny that he’s quality though.

JK23 I suppose when you break it down like that, I agree firmino has that magic pass in him. I’m basing it on Hendo’s all round short and long passing game, as in he hardly makes the wrong choice, in my opinion of course.

But like Ed0333 said, might just be naby whose the pick of the lot.

{Ed025's Note - i think his talent is unquestionable AZK..pity hes a bit of a wimp really mate.. :)

Keita 100%, Shaqiri and hopefully Fab are better passers than Hendo IMO.

I wouldn’t call wolves a banana skin Ed I would imagine they will stay up comfortably along with Fulham probably just behind the mini battle between Everton and West Ham (7th+ 8th), the top 6 will be in my opinion
Man City/ Liverpool
Chelsea
Man Unt
Spurs/ Arsenal.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that den, except that i think west ham will not do as well as you expect mate..

It's the premier league! All teams are a potential banana skin, but it's a bit early for excuses, especially when you've forked out some serious dough. Everton need to win games like these, no excuses.

{Ed025's Note - easier said than done mate, everton are in transition with a new manager, style of play and players who are new and will take time to gel, interesting though it is rome was not built in a day..

Best striker of the ball - Sturridge (but could be Shaqiri based on pre-season! )
Best dribbler - Salah in tight spaces, Keita when on the run. but Firmino is really good under pressure too
Best Passer - Firmino as he sees space like few others and tends to perfectly weight the pass.

Having watched Mane at close quarters in the Torino game, he was staggeringly quick and skilful dribbling. Just amazing.
