Thanks very much Ed1 mate.

Was just thinking, usually today you'd of been doing the match previews, bet it feels good not to be doing them anymore? lol. Have a great day mate.

{Ed001's Note - brilliant to not have the whole weekend scotched doing them! I can get on with the transfer window review before returning to finish off the Jack Charlton article. So nice.}

A long one today ed! Not sure how he’ll you kept up with all those deals yesterday, the usual deadline day scramble always leaves me wondering how things always get left so last minute. Take Everton, for example, they will basically have an entirely new back 4 with Coleman coming back, new left back, Mina and the possibility of Zouma, it can’t be food for clubs to have no preseason. It was a boring day for us but hopefully that’s. positive!

{Ed001's Note - they can't moan, they are the ones that wanted windows, rather than just having transfers open all year round. Still they have ensured agents make themselves wealthy.}

Brilliant round up Ed
and what is that saying?
If you stand still in football you might as well go backwards
Spurs have taken a massive risk in buying no one
even one new player around the squad gees everyone up.

{Ed001's Note - but they are a young squad so should improve due to the players natural improvement. However, I do agree, they needed to freshen things up.}

Thanks Ed. Excellent bumper edition. So surprised Spurs have done no business. Good luck to Danny Ings. Have a good one.

{Ed001's Note - Poch was surprised as well, made his end of season comments look silly.}

Do you know if Kovacic was a loan with an option to buy for Chelsea Ed001 please?
I thought my criticism of their late activities was fair yesterday.
Will they pitch the new keeper straight in?
All very odd, for Chelsea that is.

{Ed001's Note - just loan.}

Cheers Ed001 cracking read. I didn’t realise how much business Fulham actualy did yesterday. On another note I really fear for Swansea and they could suffer a Sunderland. Apparently with all their sales they have left themselves with just 1 centre back.

{Ed001's Note - Fulham did very well. Swansea have until the end of the month to sign some loan defenders and they have a very good youth set up.}

Spurs just about got through last season. It was a stretch.

This season will see then drop out of the top 4.

You can't watch arsenal and Chelsea shale things up and invest to get back into the top 4 and just sit there and say where good enough.

It's as much about not letting players feel like there place is safe as anything. Whose dislodging Kane, Ali, Eriksson now? Also there sitting there watching everyone streghen and there getting no-one and no help.

They did nothing last year, why should this year be any different. How do you go from winning nothing to winning something without adding. How can Kane get any better? 31 last year and they did nothing. Dele still has to get back to his form 2 years ago. They will always be a handful but there could be slight disharmony there and frustration.
