Do you think we will sign anyone for the first team tomorrow? Or is it just a potential backup keeper.

Karius is a brilliant back up keeper.

He helped take liverpool to the Champion's league final, with some great saves too. Migs deserves a shout Coz he saved an important penalty, on our run to the final.

I agree, last days will be interesting. Liverpool sign Aoc at the last minute. Klopp said he didn't want to ruin the last day show. That is an infuriating cryptic comment.
A, he could have said it meaning, he isn't signing anyone else but he didn't want to say.

But

B, It is a double bluff, and, like Liverpool are clever at getting good press, Klopp helps, and we take some of the lime light by signing fekir, or dembele. I'm surprised Madrid haven't looked at dembele. Do Madrid and Barcelona ever sell and buy to each other?

I think there might be something. I mean, we have seen fekir in a red shirt! Fekir must be gutted. I'm impressed that he hasn't tried to force a move, not turning up to training, or being a pain in the arse. Showed integrity,

I know ed033, that would be the cherry on the cake. But I'm happy with our business so far. I'd be happy for us to go into the league with what we have. I think we have a squad that can challenge for the title. But City are on another level. Showed it beating Chelsea.

I like lovren, he's a good bloke who has been through a lot. After his comments about being one of the best has caused some laughter in the dressing room. Tbf, he was in both ucl final and wc final. That's pretty impressive. Lost both though.

I think he has something to prove this season. I think the lapse in concentration might not be a problem. He looks fired up, looks mean. I like it.

A 10 would be good, I think we might see one in the next couple of days.

With cb, I think Philips has a future. I would give him a shot, he has a bit of carra about him. Brave, never give up attitude and a bit lucky. I'm not saying bring him on at city, I mean ease him in. League Cup, if he shines, could get a shot, injuries might be an issue. I don't know why but I see something in him. Always in the right place.

{Ed0333's Note - what a lot of people donâ€™t know about Lovren is during the World Cup he (and Rebic) went to see the psychologist every day due to professional and personal reasons, although Reibic seeked help because he is a hothead. Lovren is a sensitive guy and his the psychological help is really making a positive difference. I think youâ€™ll see a more confident player this season and better performances.

Doubt even 1 tbh but it has to be a cb if we can sort one out!

Iâ€™m so with you ed 3333 regarding a CB. I love joe Gomez be he, along with Matip is very injury prone. And Matip for me, is 3rd choice at best.

Weâ€™ve had a fantastic window but still feel we are weak in that area.

{Ed0333's Note - Iâ€™m more positive now safe in the knowledge that Chelsea didnâ€™t sign Fekir. I would have loved Fekir and Vida but itâ€™s been an above average window for us and I canâ€™t grumble.
