Does anyone thing long term Brewster might end up being the back up for Firminho instead of Solanke
I really like Solanke but I fear he is just not up to the level needed
I hope he gets a good loan before the window closes and bangs in the goals I really do.

I would put him ahead of Solanke and Origi already. I think Sturridge has been a pleasant suprise for Klopp and has given him a dilemma because it looked on the cards that he (and Origi) went this window but now we have Bobby - Sturridge and a 3rd spot that is up in their air and Dom and Div are a long way from being good enough.

Disagree about Solanke. He always gets a clear cut chance, his movement is brilliant. I reckon he is the type of striker who needs a little goal run to get his confidence flying.

He is perfect for us, holds the ball up and is tall but can get the ball down and play too.

Look, he was player of the tournament when England u20s won the world Cup. To say he is not at the level is wrong he is just inexperienced at this level. Don't write him off on a few cameos. I think a time will come when Solanke gets a chance this season and I have faith in him. He's been do unlucky. Forcing worldies from the keepers he's faced or hitting the inside of the woodwork or missing by an inch. He could easily have bagged 10 goals since joining and for a youngster that would have been impressive.

If you're talking about Sturridge being ahead of Origi and Solanke then I would agree with you. He's always a threat for a killer pass or a shot at goal in the last third. And he always knows what to do simply because he has loads of experience over the other two. Just needs to shake off a little bit of rustiness, move up the confidence, stay fit and injury-free, and we have the perfect understudy to Firmino for the season.

Brewster is currently injured and has never played a minutes football in an adult match. Before his injury he was quality for the u23s but what if he comes back and never gets back to that level? He’s a talent but to say he’s ahead of the likes of solanke (a full England international with 30 PL appearances to his name) is madness. If solanke was to go on loan then Brewster would get that extra bench spot (when fit) to prove his worth and show if he’s at that level. A loan for solanke to get regular first team football and Brewster bench / game time would be best fitting I think unless Brewster is out until January anyway.

I reckon we should loan out Solanke get him some hopefully top flight mins. We have Sturridge and Salah and mane who can also play there. I’m assuming ings and Origi will go. It would be a shame to see neither Sturridge nor Origi gets proper shot as they are both sharing whatever mins Firmino doesn’t play between them.

Sturridge is great cover for Bobby. But he will get injured. As soon as he gets clattered and then we are down to solanke, Origi, brewster and shaqiri.

What am I talking about. We have loads of cover everywhere on the park.

I think we will see quite a few leaving soon

I think lallana is gone, I gs and maybe origi.

Couple thoughts, there is a greater likelihood that the teenage striker who will be our "next firmino" is currently paying at another club and we'll buy then in a few years.

I'd send Brewster on loan so he can play. i think solanke deserves to keep his place on the bench that will be marginalized if sturridge remains fit.

It's a bit like the merits of grabbara and kelleher backing up Allison. How helpful is it for the kids to sit on the bench anyways?

Solanke’s all round game is very good for his age, but his finishing is poor. Reminds me very much of Heskey watching him play. I think he could be a very important player for any team he goes to, but will be constantly underrated and ridiculed for not finishing these chances he’s getting. Let’s be honest, if we saw him coming through the ranks at any other team playing how he has been for us, we’d all be taking the mick. Let’s just hope he turns it round cus there is obviously a good player there.
