Thought I'd put it up there. Reports in France say that Fekir will most likely sign a contract extension with Lyon now. (Quelle Surprise! ) If the club wanted to buy the player I personally think something would have been done by now. I think we had a belter of a transfer window and if we do sign one more player it would just be the cherry on top.

If anyone heard something else, I'd be great to have your view on the matter guys.

I heard we wanted to sign him. Made a bid. It was accepted. He came for a medical, even did a promo add. Then we may have backed out of the deal because of an old injury that might be recurring. So we tried to renegotiate the price or structure. Deal fell through. But rumours were there was still a chance. Then he may have been offered a new contract by Lyon.
