Is it looking like Mane is now on pens or is this just in Firmino's absence?

Markp08- Firmino took pens last season, missed ones against Seville and West Brom, one of many we missed last season, Milner, Salah missed ones too.
I was suprised to see Mane taking em in pre season, thought it might be Fabinho who has a great record, 1 miss in 20.

Every goalscorer should be able to take a fairly reliable pen, I see no reason why Mane shouldn't be taking them.

Hjikle is correct, but I'd go as far as say every player should be confident to take and score a penalty.

Firmino hasn’t been there so how can anyone answer this?

{Ed002's Note - I am sure he is there in spirit and watching - I also imagine he wobbles his right foot back and forth when a penalty is taken.}

As long as it is sorted before they hit the pitch. Nothing as embarrassing as players arguing on the pitch about it.

I think it gives mane added confidence. The only tiny downer on our front 3 last season was that mane's confidence looked like it took a hit after salah was so impressive. This way it gives mane added importance, another 10 goals a season and to be honest I don't know why he wasn't on them before, he is the best finisher in that front 3.
