Allan has signed a new long term deal and has impressed enough to earn a years loan at Frankfurt, who are in the Europa league so invaluable experience!

John, great question, it intrigues me also. In the last three summer windows the leavers have totalled 29, 32 and 27 including loans.

Zed, I will try to find out the answer to your question, but in the meantime what about Tiago Ilori who in four full seasons with us, started not one of the 152 League matches.

I'm sure 'The Messiah' made a few benches and had a couple of appearances in the cups?

Bernard Diomede was with us for a long time without getting on the pitch after a few early appearances. Or are you taking zero appearances all together?

Looking for players that have spent the longest time, as ostensibly a first team player, without getting into a single competitive match-day squad (EPL/ 1st Division or any cup comps) .

A tricky one to research, and I'm thinking it could only be players who are compromised by work permit issues or have very long term injury issues as, otherwise, they would have been shipped out?

I can't find how long his contract extension is for, but Allan has been with us since 2015 and not once appeared in a competitive matchday squad due to his WP issues.
