Coz matip was injured? That still leaves lovren gomez and klavan. Not to mention van djke.

Jumping the gun a little, it was a pre season friendly that neither team was taking particularly seriously. We have Lovren to comeback into the first team and plenty of cover in Gomez and Klavan (that’s assuming Matip’s injury is serious, when we’ve been told it isn’t) . Definitely not a priority position, especially with the money we’ve spent this window. Next summer the club can readdress it.

yeah, let's buy players based on frindlies. great policy. they mean nothing. we beat dortmund 4-0 in pre season in 2014. we finished 6th that year.

Haha, I'm pretty sure Klopp has a choice. Most likely he will base said choice on the fact we already have 5 senior centre backs and two good youngsters.

And we beat Barcelona last season just before they romped to the league. we were missing half or more of our first team on the pitch at any one time.

I think we’re fine at CB if Lovren can get consistent.
