Really feeling sorry for Karius. The guy's head is all over the place, the fans refuse to get behind him and the jeers and will not be doing him any favours. Klopp needs to take this situation more seriously and look for a good loan move for Karius away from the limelight and the thankless task of being a LFC goalkeeper.
A loan move to a mid table side in Bundesliga like Mainz or Bremen makes sense, away from the BPL. There is still a good GK somewhere in Karius but his confidence is shot to pieces and he simply seems to be going through the motions until Klopp swings the axe on his LFC career.

Agreed. Think he needs to leave for the sake of his family and his own mental health more than anything else at the moment. Horrible that people are jeering him but their their will always be cretins that won’t get behind a player. If I was him I’d want to leave and start again.

genuinely hope he has the chance to start again, sad that it had to come to this. i think he is strong enough, but this environment is not the best one for his career right now.

It’s all well and good saying he needs a loan but a loan where? I don’t see clubs queuing around the block to try to sign him, why would they he is clearly low on confidence. Maybe he needs to stay for the season as backup to Alisson and play for the under 23 team to rebuild his confidence.

I expected better from the kop, I have to say. I think now alisson is here they've given up on karius. Mightvebeen different if he was still no1.

Karius hasn't played in front of the Kop since the final and hasn't played in England since Alison was officially at Liverpool, what is the Kop responsible for?

Karius needs to take time out from football and focus on his mental well-being, IMO. To me, football is not important right now. His mental health is. The man is broken and it seems like the more he tries to do right, the more wrong he does. This is a mental/ psychological issue now that have nothing to do with football. He should leave LFC and just take time off to get right in his head and then come back to football mentally tougher and if he can't then at least, we know he won't be lost to us all. See Robert Enke.

It should have happened as soon as he came back from holiday. There is NO CHANCE of him getting the headspace he needs playing for Liverpool in the premier league.
Secondly if I was his agent or part of his support network I would immediately tell him to leave social media or subcontract his social media to someone else.

This is at least until he recovers. I think it will take him a long time as a human I feel for him.
On a football level I don’t think he’s good enough or ever will be to play at elite level and he’s just been really unfortunate to have his weaknesses exposed in the most high profile way. Football is cruel, it always has been and probably always will. It’s like the law of the jungle out there.
