Ed 001 your allowed max 1 player from each team in prem to replace someone in the starting 11 (Allisson, taa, Lovren, dijk, robbo, fab, Keita, hendo, mane, salah, firmino) as many as you want! I genuinly think i would only take alderweireld to replace Lovren and KDB to replace hendo. Would love to know your picks! I'm going to guess you will change the two cb's and left back.

{Ed001's Note - replace them with who though? KDB would be a possibility, but he would in Keita's way, as the two play similar roles, so not sure I would change Hendo for him. I would have to bring Kante in because he is the best player in the world right now, so it would be him for Hendo. There are no good left backs to swap Robbo for. I would have to agree on Alderweireld. TAA is still young and learning, but who the hell is there to replace him with? Kyle Walker doesn't offer the quality of delivery, so I would stick with him.}

Kante walks into any team in the world, so I would ditch one of Hendo or Fabinho for him. Maybe KDB or Silva to partner Keita and Kante in midfield. And one of Alderweireld or Vertonghen to partner VVD.

Yes you would think there would be a whole host of fullback or wingbacks with the way the modern game has turned and there are really very few top drawer ones. It's a bit weird really. Look at Sessegnon; rose through the ranks at left back. As soon as he hits the first team, moves up to an attacking position and before long will probably be furthest man forward, on the opposite side, cutting in like Salah. Do they just pluck the best talent and move them elsewhere on the pitch as fullbacks are deemed unimportant or is it a position that, as Carra said, is just full of failed centre backs and wingers?

Sane for mane a no brainier for me, KDB gets in any team in the world so you’d have him and kante for Hendo/ Fabinho. Rate Trent very highly, at this stage he’s probably a bit behind Trippier but I’d stick with Trent with more improvement to come. Then there’s probably at least half a dozen CBs I’d take over Lovren- a fully fit alderweireld would be high up that list. Robbo already the best left back in the league for me. De gea at this stage is obviously more proven in the prem so could argue you’d take him over Allison at this point (although from what Iv seen of Allison he looks to be on a very similar level to de gea)

I'll take Ed's position over anyone else's. I would not take Sane over Mane cos Mane can do a lot more right now than what Sane (brilliant player) offers. Mane can play all the positions in attack and drop deep and play the no. 10. Sane cannot do ANY of that.

Walker is poor and has no defensive nous and has poor delivery. TAA is what Walker wishes he was in this dept. so TAA all the way. Kante is a no brainer. and Alderweireld just shades it over Lovren currently.
